Renewable Energy Advisory Committee

The Enfield Town Board, by the Resolution on June 14, 2017, formed a citizens advisory committee titled “Renewable Energy Advisory Committee.” The committee was formed with the purpose of gathering and substantiating relevant information concerning alternative energy impacts and regulations, particularly in the fields of wind and solar power, and to make recommendations to the Town Board. At the same meeting, Local Law #1 of 2017 was passed concerning the Town of Enfield Moratorium on Commercial Wind and Solar Energy Facilities (PDF).

Members Appointed as of July 12, 2017: Mike Carpenter, Beth McGee, Jude Lemke, Walt Smithers, Mimi Mehaffey, Dan Walker, Marcus Gingerich, and Art Godin.
