Youth Programs
Enfield School Age Program (“After School”)
Established in 2001, the School Age Program is a parent-led, local not-for-profit operating out of the Enfield Elementary School. Our mission is to provide a safe, enriching environment that promotes social, physical, and educational growth for the Enfield community.
Program Features
- Homework Club: Dedicated time in classrooms with teacher access (no more “I forgot my homework excuses”!)
- Youth Garden: Includes an Outdoor Classroom Pavilion and Garden Club where kids learn to grow their own food
- EYES Science Program: Weekly science sessions led by Cornell Engineering students
- Nutrition Program: Learn how to make healthy food choices, taught by the Cornell Cooperative Extension
- Active Play: Daily outdoor time, gym access, arts & crafts, and rotating monthly themes
Logistics
- Hours of Operation: 2:00 PM – 5:30 PM on school days. Occasional full-day care available
- Flexibility: Enrollment options range from 1 to 5 days per week
- Financial Aid: We accept DSS cases and offer limited scholarships through the United Way

Enfield Youth Program
The Enfield Youth Program offers free after school and summer programs for those living in Tompkins County, with priority given to Enfield Youth aged 10 and up. These programs are offered through a partnership between the Enfield Community Council and 4-H of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Tompkins County.
