Advisory Board of Assessment Review
This board assists the town with matters related to property assessments and grievance reviews. Members: Peg Willis
Beautification Committee
The Beautification Committee was created to help develop a unique and welcoming community. This committee maintains town gardens, installs seasonal decorations, and coordinates improvements for public spaces. An example of a previous project was the hand-carved “Welcome to Enfield” signs visible from either end of the Hamlet of Enfield. Cemetery Committee
The Cemetery Committee is responsible for oversight of the cemeteries within the Town of Enfield: Christian, Rolfe, Presbyterian, and Budd. Cemeteries Rumsey and Woodard are not maintained by the Town because Rumsey is located on private property and Woodard is New York State Park Property. Community Council
The Enfield Community Council is a not-for-profit United Way agency which promotes the welfare of the community by supporting local organizations through mutual cooperation and coordination, as well as sponsoring new activities when necessary.

Tompkins County Environmental Management Council (EMC)
The Tompkins County EMC is the County government’s citizen advisory board on local environmental matters. The EMC serves as a link between government and the public and educates citizens on various environmental issues. While many members have formal training, many others are also self-taught.

Facilities Development Committee
The Facilities Development Committee works on long-range planning for Town facilities and other major Town infrastructure (such as the municipal water/sewer program). They advise and update the Board regarding proposals and continues having oversight on all projects until completion.
Personnel Committee
The Personnel Committee reviews the personnel manual regularly, presents suggestions for change to the Town Board, and meet with the County Personnel Office when necessary. They ensure compliancy in personnel files, review staffing issues with other committees, and report updates to the Town Board.
Tompkins County Council of Governments (TCCOG)
TCCOG is a group of local governments that gathers to facilitate discussion and expedite the delivery of government services. The group aims to improve communication among local governments in Tompkins County. View the TCCOG page (external site) to learn about membership and methods of contact.
Tompkins County Recreation Partnership
The Tompkins County Recreation Partnership offers a wide and affordable array of recreational programs made possible by the collaboration and pooling of resources of several local governments. They work with service providers, such as the Ithaca Youth Bureau, to operate programs. Tompkins County Youth Board
The Youth Services Board is an advisory board to the Tompkins County Youth Services Department and the Tompkins County Legislature. Members are representatives appointed by their municipalities. Members of the board includes youth (ages 16-20) as well as adults. They develop plans correlating to community priorities, review grant proposals, and support the work of the Youth Services Staff members.
