NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the proposed budget for the year 2027 of the Enfield Fire District of
the County of Tompkins and State of New York has been adopted by the Board of Fire Commissioners of
the Enfield Fire District.
A PUBLIC HEARING will be held at the Enfield Fire District Fire Station, 172 Enfield Main Road,
Enfield, New York, on October 20, 2026 at 6:30 p.m.
Pursuant to Town Law §181, the Board of Fire Commissioners shall hold a public hearing to discuss
the contents of the proposed budget. At such hearing, any person may be heard in favor of or
against the proposed budget as compiled, or for or against any item or items therein contained.
A copy of the proposed budget is available at the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Enfield
at the Enfield Town Hall, 168 Enfield Main Road, Enfield, New York, or at the Office of the Fire
District Secretary at the Enfield Fire District Fire Station, 172 Enfield Main Road, Enfield, New
York where it may be inspected by any interested person during office hours.
