REQUEST FOR BIDS:
The Town of Enfield is seeking bids for a one year contract for maintenance of four town cemeteries.
Contractors will need to provide their own equipment and supplies.
• 4 cemetery locations (approx 2.28 acres total):
◦ Budd Cemetery (227 Gray Road ; 100’x170’ or .4 acres)
◦ Presbyterian Cemetery (Enfield Main Road; .78 acres)
◦ Rolfe Cemetery (81 Applegate Road N., North of Route 79, .28 acres)
◦ Christian Cemetery (Enfield Main Road; .82 acres)
• Duties include:
◦ Mowing green space and around headstones
◦ Each cemetery mowed approximately once a month May through October
◦ Mowing must be done within two weeks prior to July 4th and Labor Day (Sept. 2, 2019)
◦ Tree limb removal required (may be disposed of at the Enfield Highway Dept.)
◦ Pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers are not permitted unless they are certified organic and their use is approved by the town.

• Candidates who qualify for an interview will be able to review each cemetery site with the Town Supervisor
• Prior experience in municipal cemetery maintenance is preferred but not required.
Bids should include at least 3 references, proof of insurance, phone number and an e-mail address (if desired) for future communications.
Bids should be sent NO LATER THAN 5/28/19 to one of the following:

• Dropped off at the clerk’s office at the address above
