The Office of the Enfield Town Clerk

The Town Clerk can assist with a number of tasks, including but not limited to notarization, licensing, accepting permits, and tax collection.

Free Notarization for Town of Enfield Residents: Appointments Required. To make an appointment, contact the Town Clerk via telephone or email.
Marriage Licenses: Licenses are issued by appointment and cost $40. Please review our Marriage License Procedure for details.
Hunting and Fishing: Information can be found on the NYC DEC website for Hunting Licenses and Fishing Licenses. The Office has NYS DEC Regulation Guides (Hunting, Fishing, and Trapping) and license fee schedules for your convenience.
Dog Licenses: All dogs in the Town of Enfield must be licensed. Fees vary. See the Dog Licensing Procedure for details.
Parking Permits for People with Disabilities: Permits are issued at the Town Clerk’s office for Enfield residents on presentation of doctor’s certificate. View the NYS DMV article for information on eligibility.
Building Permits: The Office provides the documents for building permits, and all completed applications should be sent to the Code Enforcement Officier.

Transcription: The Enfield Town Clerk transcribes and records Town Board and Planning Board meetings.
